Evolution Studios offers Langley Pilates Classes that will challenge your body and mind. Our progressive programs start you off with the basics and increase in intensity each week so you are constantly challenged and motivated. Our Langley Pilates Classes will help you gain core strength and flatter abdominals, stand taller, and gain lean, toned muscles. No matter what your fitness level, anyone can benefit from Pilates Exercises.

Introduction to Pilates

An effective Pilates practice starts with a strong understanding of the basics. In this 4-week series, you will learn the fundamental exercises and concepts of Pilates that you will apply in any of our other Pilates classes. During your 4 weeks you will learn:
  • The language of Pilates
  • Muscle awareness
  • Basic form and technique
  • Basic exercises
  • Modifications to adapt the exercises for your body if needed

Pilates Reformer Classes

Using the versatile Pilates Reformer machine, this progressive, 16-week program will build core strength, increase flexibility, and improve balance, coordination, and posture. There are hundreds of different exercises for the reformer - you will never get bored and always stay challenged! Space in these classes is limited, so be sure to reserve your space early.

Pre-Requisite: Completion of Intro to Pilates or Personal Training

Pilates Mat Classes

Challenge your body and mind with Pilates Mat classes. Using just you, a mat, and some small props (such as exercise balls or resistance bands) you will build core strength and improve your posture so you can stand tall and strong. Classes have a maximum of 6 people, so you must reserve your space up to 7 days in advance.

Pre-Requisite: Completion of Intro to Pilates or Personal Training
Class Format: Weekly Reservation

Pilates Studio Classes

In this circuit style class, you and 2 other participants will run through a workout that utilizes all of the Pilates equipment. With so many different exercises for each piece of apparatus, it will never be exactly the same workout twice! This class is best suited for people with plenty of Pilates experience - each participant will be doing different exercises at the same time under the supervision of an instructor.

Pre-Requisite: 6 Months of Previous Pilates Experience or Minimum of 10 Personal Training Sessions

Pilates Personal Training

These one-hour Personal Training sessions will work with the complete repertoire of Pilates equipment to create a workout perfectly tailored to meet your needs and goals. Personal training is also great if you are looking to rehabilitate from injuries or chronic medical conditions, or are looking for sport-specific training.

Pre-Requisite: NONE (Consultation Recommended)
