I started practicing yoga shortly after moving to Canada from Bosnia and Herzegovina about 20 years ago. It started as an occasional practice in the community and recreation centers In Edmonton. It was about 8 years ago that I fell in love with yoga completely. I found that my life changed as I developed regular practice and experienced the amazing qualities that yoga offers. The richness that yoga brought to my life inspired me to share with others, leading me to complete my teacher training at Prana Yoga College in Vancouver in 2012. I began teaching hatha with Emotion and Fire Dance studio shortly after completing the teacher training.  In 2013 I joined Evolution Yoga and Pilates. I also teach yoga for athletes in MEC. I believe that every athlete irrespective of sport has the potential to enhance his or her ability by adopting a consistent yoga practice.
